I tried this with Half Life Alyx and the processing applies to the computer screen but not to the headset. Anyone know why? I turn it on and off and its very clear what's happening on the comp screen...

Didn't work. Kept pressing the home and end button and nothing. Copied the files to onwards and virtual desktop and same thing. How do you do it on your end?

Actually, no. You just have to rename it - for OpenGL games it needs to be called opengl32.dll. It works fine with the Doom 3 VR mod, for example.I don't own H3VR, though, so I can't test that...

what i figured is the .dll file attached that's supposed to handle the graphics hijack is for direct X programs, and H3VR runs on OpenGL. tried to use reshade's opengl to replace it, but no dice.

I put the files in my H3VR folder but it seems to crash the game. It loads for me to the point where I hear the main menu ambience, but no image appears and the game crashes.

ReShade/CAS with the Gear lens mod on Vive, it's crazy clear! I was bummed I couldn't get my hands on a 3080/3090 and hence didn't want to upgrade my Vive OG yet but this is such a jump. Thank you!

DLSS needs to be built into the engine, CAS is an overdeveloped sharpening filter. Not that it's a bad thing, it makes a noticeable improvement, but maybe for ~25% improved perceived resolution instead...
